If I import a hand-drawn sketch or a Visio diagram, how accurately does Kernaro AI identify the elements and relationships? Does it usually need much manual cleanup afterward, or is it pretty reliable out of the box?

  • Kernaro Assist can use an imported Visio diagram, image, or hand-drawn sketch as a visual reference when creating a diagram in Enterprise Architect.
  • For clear and well-structured inputs, it can identify the main elements, relationships, and overall layout, and reproduce the diagram with a structure similar to the source. Clean Visio diagrams and high-quality images generally provide the best results. Hand-drawn sketches can also be used, although the accuracy may depend on the clarity of the drawing, labels, connectors, and image quality.

You can see an example of converting a Visio diagram into an Enterprise Architect diagram in this video:

Converting Visio Diagrams to Enterprise Architect Diagrams

When creating a diagram from scratch without a reference image, Kernaro Assist automatically arranges and formats the elements to produce a clean and readable layout. The user can then make any final adjustments required for their modelling standards or presentation preferences.
