Does this tool only send the objects in DOORS one way?  For instance, you can import requirements from DOORS to EA but can you export requirements or changes to requirements from EA to DOORS?

Hi,

no! It's only an import of DOORS Requirements.

For most purposes that's enough.

A professional bidirectional solution where you see the diagrams/model elements in DOORS and vice versa is no simple thing. Tool suppliers usually are only interested in an import function.

My preferred way of traceability is to only trace features or requirement groups (In DOORS heading). With that solution you vaporize the links to 10% or more. Then you can do it manually.

There is at least one company which supports tool integration between requirements and models.

I know no rule which specifies the granularity of traceability.
