Hi there, has anyone automated the publishing of HTML reports to SharePoint document libraries?

The one time we tried this, I seem to remember that, because there are so many HTML files produced by the HTML generator, SharePoint didn't like it, so we had to ZIP the file structure and save that. Not ideal.

G'day Glassboy,

I worked with a tech to develop a solution similar to what you are after by exporting HTML to Sharepoint 2007, our basic process was.
1. Send Notification HTML Export started
2. Delete Existing Files and wait X minutes
3. Send Notification Delete Completed
4. Run HTML Export
5. Send Notification HTML Export Completed

We had some small problems:
1. Dedicated User needs to be logged onto server to run export application
2. Connections to Sharepoint would fail sometimes resulting in failed export.

Currently I am in new shop and we have just put in Sharepoint 2013.

At the moment, I just export to web/file server via this little application - Code Post - http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1356562829/0#6 and run reference links from sharepoint to the file location using this method - http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/9.3/reporting/htmlreport.html

When we get some more technical people onboard, I am going to explore this capability in Sharepoint 2013 - http://www.mssharepointtips.com/tip.asp?id=1096&page=1

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Stoppy  :)
