Build and publish a data dictionary

Hi,  Does anyone have experience or suggestions on how I can build up a data dictionary from a number of data models from conceptual through to physical and generate a published report (ideally html but rich text would also work).  

The idea would be to create a searchable and browse-able resource for business sand technical users to locate and view data definitions and their location in various models.
