Addin enabled or disabled
« on: January 13, 2017, 08:41:32 pm »
Hi guys,

Does anybody know where EA stores information about weather a given addin is enabled or disabled?
And is this setting per EA project or all or none?

At a guess: the registry.

q.

P.S. But nothing obvious here. Try altering the setting and compare registries before and after. Also look for modified files in %appdata%

Hej Knut,

It's stored in the registry in HKCU\EA400\EA\OPTIONS\ExcludeAddins, which is a null-terminated string value (REG_SZ), which contains a comma-separated list of Add-In names, where I presume each entry matches one of the keys under HKCU\EA400\EAAddins.

The setting is client-global, so it affects all projects.

HTH,
