Create a template for report
« on: October 15, 2015, 07:00:16 pm »
Hi,

I want to create my own report. So I try to create a new template. But I don't understand the workflow to create them. The information in the program-help confuse me. Can anybody help?

You see my projectstructure on the picture. https://pl.vc/358dv

I want a report with the diagrams and maybe some information, but not too much. Table of Content und numbered pages would be nice.

Thanks.

Hi Eric,

I think you best start from one of the standard build-in templates and start from there.
Make a copy of such a template and remove everything you don't need. Hopefully you are left with only the parts you are interested in.

Document generation is a craft on its own which requires a lot of time and knowledge to do it "properly". But if you start from the standard templates you might get more or less what you need with a lot less effort.

Try the Model Report. I think that is one of the most complete reports.
