deployment specification

Hello,

i would like create a deployment diagramm for deployment specifications.
This specifications contains the general specification and an instance of general specification (with "deployment spec" values).

My Questions:

Do must i create the general and the instance in one diagram or two diagrams?
I need for the instance a classifier? How define this classifier for my instance? With a class? But, if i use a class then show the class name in the instance of the "deployment spec" in the diagram?!

Maybe you have a look at the example repository provided with the EA download. It has some good examples how to use deployment.
