Packages with Use cases

Hi,

i had create a use cases diagramm with rational rose with package and actor, the actor is linked to the package. In EA i can't reprouce that. Why ?

is a simple association link from actors to package.

You might have to turn off model validation: Project/Model Validation/Configure. An Actor/Package association is not UML compliant.

In the meantime, what are you trying to say with this association? UML 'rules' notwithstanding, the important thing about your model is that it should convey the message you intend.

There may be another way to show what you want. If you can put the intent of the link into words, perhaps we can help more.
