Nested requirements in RTF
« on: February 21, 2007, 11:45:02 am »
Newbie question. picked up EA, but am having some difficulty with reporting requirements. I had created a bunch of requirements in a flat hierarchy in a package as follows:

+ Requirement A
+ Requirement B
+ Requirement C

When I generated an RTF report using the requirements template, all the requirements were there. Next, I added some hierarchy to the requirements as follows:

+ Requirement A
+ + Requirement B
+ + Requirement C

i.e. B and C are nested under A (done via drag and drop in the project browser). Now when I generate the RTF report, only A shows up. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Check the child element section in the Content panel of rtf templates editor.

Thanks, that did the trick. Now I just need to make it look halfway decent...
