I wonder if someone else has also run into similar bug!

If you batch export multiple control packages, after exporting few packages, EA start throwing error messages i.e "required resource not available" and after few attempts EA just crash.

You should report this as a bug to Sparx - and also post the replied from Sparx here in this thread.

Yes, please report this immediately.

In the meantime, which build of EA are you using? And what XMI format (or formats) is this failure associated with?

I'm using EA version 7.0 build 815 and exporting in XMI 2.1.

If you observe the EA memory usage during this process, most probably you'll understand the reason .

Here is the final response from Sparx...

"We have identified and fixed this issue for Build 816. The problem occurred when exporting large number of Sequence Diagrams."
As a work-around till Build 816 is released, please Batch Export without the package containing lots of Sequence Diagrams.
