Could use suggestions/help please

Hello, I am very new to the world of UML but I do have a bit of understanding. I have been trying to find as many tutorials/examples of completely uml diagrams as I can find which has helped me. On a side note, I would appreciate any resources you may know of that might help me understand more.

Anyway, I am a web developer and will be starting work on a heavily involved project which will be the backend for a particular company. Some of the core functionality will be a employee manager, client manager, project manager, data visualization, etc.

Along with the application, I would be modeling a database with it.

What I am wondering is if someone might be able to hit me in the right direction and give me some kind of info/template for a project of this type.

I would appreciate any help that anyone could offer, Thank you

... and, apart from this forum (forii ??), may I add that nothing has really been added from what these people say.

... but then again, you could go as mad as the rest of us and try to understand grok the OMG spec.
