Communication diagram : change numbering

Dear Enterprise Architect experts,

I'm preparing a communication diagram. The normal numbering scheme for the associations is 1.1, 1.2 a.s.o.
To be able to use the same numbering scheme than my customer I would like to number the associations with normal interger number : 1,2,3.
Is it possible to achieve this ?
How can I mange that ?
