Create use-case model
« on: March 30, 2012, 11:45:00 pm »
Hi I created a use case model.
I want to generate a document from this model.
When I generate a popup come where I select "Use case template".
Al wat I get to see is a standard document with under Use cases the name of the use case.
No further information which is stored underneath this use case is shown.
We still have a older version 8.0.864 but I expect that this feature should work. What do I wrong?
Regards Dirk

To not start a new Thread, I will use this one, here another use case model question.

In a Use Case Diagram, you have an actor associate with a Use Case1 and that Use Case1 has an Extend to Use Case 2.

Actor1 and Actor2 have access to Use Case1 and just Actor 1 has access to Use Case 2.
When doing a relationship Matrix from Use Case to Actor, we will only have links with use case 1 and actors. How is the best practice to handle this situation and present to higher managment such a situation? Thanks in advance.

Hi Dirk,

You can put an appropriate constraint (guard) on the <<extends>> relationship, e.g. {current actor is Actor1}.
