UML Metaclass extension of Attribute

I am trying to create a UML Profile with Metaclass extension of Attribute where i can sterotype my own tagged values.  
<<metaclass>>attribute <---------<<extends>>------<<sterotyped>>tagged attributes.  I have place my tagged values at the stereotype properties class level.  

Problem:  when i apply the uml profile attributes the class level attribute shows up.  I drag it to a class object and prompts for a tagged value.  I only want the new object to extend the tagged values from the profile only.  When I open the class object properties the tagged values save to the profile are not there.  Is there a setting for the tagged values as part of the stereotyped class level?  help...Thanks.  jg1844

A Stereotype's tagged values are defined by the attributes (not tagged values) of the «stereotype» class in your profile.
