Multi language support in BPMN model
« on: July 12, 2013, 10:25:09 pm »
Hello,

I am using EA BPMN 2.0 Business Processes to create a Business Process Quality Manual with diagrams, process descriptions and links tothe organisational roles. Since the users are based in Germany and the Netherlands, the manual should be available in German and in English. The manuals are identical except that the language used is either German or English.

Can someone give me some direction on how this is best set up in EA to maintain the model in two languages and somehow create a German version and an English version.

Best regards
Peter Eisses

I've seen s.th. like you want already discussed here. AFAIR the solution was to use tagged values to hold the language specifc terms and notes.

What's the final format you intend for your manual (I'd guess RTF report or similar)?

Best regards,
Günther

Final result should be in RTF or Word format or similar.
Getting an idea on how to set this up or having a example of a similar situation would be a great help.
