Re link a linked document
« on: September 12, 2013, 12:22:49 am »
Good morning.

I have a doubt related with linked documents when producing some use cases diagrams.

I have a linked document in a "Requirement like element" and I also want to put a link to this same doc in my uml use case. I noticed that I have a need to create this document again, but I really want to find a way to just create a new link to the same document (without referencing the requirement). This issue regards to a situation where I have a lot of use cases that needs to link the document (a manual for example) and I don't want to force the user to create a new document with the same content every time he needs to do a new use case.

Can anyone help me solving it.

Create the Linked Document in a Document Artifact element and link it to any (Requirement, Use Case) elements that share the document. The procedure is described in the Help.

Huuum, this isn't exactly what I got in my mind, but seems to be a good solution for my problem. Thanks a lot!
