File types - Can they be changed?

Pick any Classifier (such as Class, Interface etc) (or even any Element ) Properties (Alt+Enter)... The Files tab should be the rightmost on the Tab list (General is the leftmost).

Ah - the obvious one. Overlooked that
I know of no way to change the type (local/web). Edit: it's hard coded in EA.exe. What would you like to appear?

Not sure yet!  That's why I'd like it to be configurable.  The two current values:  Local File and Web Address are somewhat specious.  They are about file location types, not file types  If you define a location in URL terms, whether it's local or not is dependent on where you are, not where it is...

I suspect that the kinds of values you find in the Windows Explorer under Type are more appropriate (and hence should be configurable).

Probably a candidate for Suggestions.

Look in t_objectfiles. You can change the value and it appears in the file list. But the drop down is - as said above - hard coded.
