same element in different packages? grouping items
« on: October 30, 2014, 02:07:01 am »
Hi. I would like to know if there is an EA UML (and project browser) element that doesn't function as a container, but rather groups contents of different containers? You know, as reference, not as a copy.

Because when I generate an identical project/class as an XMI and put it in different packages, only one of them has content after XMI import, unless I change the GUID. Now I don't need to have copies at all, one instance is enough, but inside Project Browser there should be a container including only some elements from different packages, so you can select them as references and paste them into a diagram without searching all the packages where the elements actually are... Is that possible?
