Reports?

Hi, and good morning to everyone.

We have been creating components and deployments diagrams for our company's systems. We use an SQL based repository. We want to provide a report where all Nodes / Devices are listed with the systems (or the some system's componentes) that are deployed on them.

There are two approches used for described relations between nodes / components / artifacts.

• The component is embedded into the node itself.
• The component is associated to the node with a "Deployment" relationship.

The problem with the relationship matrix report is that it requires the component/artifact and nodes to be related through a relationship and embedded components (first approach) will not work.

The concrete question is: Is there a way to create reports by consulting the model?. We would love to use the first approch for readable and maintainability porpouses.
