Error deleting packages with a lot of elements
« on: March 18, 2008, 12:24:54 am »
When deleting a package with a lot of elements and connectors I get an error. It says "DAO.Database [2004]    Out of memory.: SQL=Delete from t_connector where Connector_ID in (a lot of ids)"

This makes a mess in the EAfile.

Please report this immediately to Sparx, as something is wrong with how the database is being handled.

You can find the correct form by clicking the Registered Users link at the top of any forum page. There is a bug report link near the top of the page this invokes.

If you are not a registered user you can still report the bug. Click the Report a Bug link below the Support link at the bottom of any forum page.

The registered page allows you to attach a file. If you can attach a compressed copy of your project (even better if you have both 'before' and 'after' versions) it would probably help Sparx.

In your report make sure you tell Sparx the Jet 4 setting (from the Tools | Options | General dialog).

Remember that Sparx is in the Land of AUS, so it will be a few hours before they see the report.
