Using the quick linker you can create an import relation between packages. This creates a Package connector. Trying to create this via automation does not work.

As to the subject line, that looks like a YABB setting. Have you sent in a note to the administrator?

Actually there is, sort of. I just clicked the Admin Sparx entry after Moderator (on any forum section). Then sent a PM to the Admin Sparx. It worked as far as getting the message length increased.

We've got your email about the package connectors, so someone will look into it.

Regarding the limit on subject length.  It's always been there, the old version of YaBB just automatically truncated it.

I know, Simon. I'm also not the first to moan over this limitation. It's probably up to you to set it to something meaningful (what about magic 256?)

Regarding the bug. Seems to be something fishy because I have similar problems in special cases which don't seem to be connected to anything directly visible. I'll post the outcome here.

Bug reproduced at Sparx. You can have a work around:

Disabling "Strict UML Syntax" in "Tools | Options | Diagram" will allow
you to work around this problem for the time being until we can fix
this.
