Is EA v7.1 backward-compatible to v7.0?

I'm new to my workgroup that is already using EA v7.0.  I'm told that EA v7.1 is not compatible to v7.0.  Can someone confirm.

The only real incompatibility that I am aware of is documented in the release notes for build 829.  (Prior versions won't be able to read Activity Final Node from XMI 2.1)

The rich text notes available in 7.1 will appear as markup in 7.0, but the markup is minimal.  If you don't use formatting, the only markup you should see is <, > and &.  And they will only come in when an element is saved.

Other than that, it's a whole lot of new features and fixes.
