Server disconnection

Does anyone know or has experienced server disconnections?  Leading to a loss of work.
We have EA 7.1 installed on a remote SQL server with about 40 concurrent user’s.
I did notice the problem began to grow with growth of the number of concurrent users.

Any help is greatly apreciated.
