Nesting in Deployment Diagrams

Below is a cross-post from the General Board per instructions from KP.

Nesting in Deployment Diagrams
Nov 15th, 2008, 12:59am

I'm trying to nest an execution environment node within a device node.  I can illustrate this with a nesting connector; however, I would prefer to just drag-and-drop the execution environment node into the device node.  I can't seem to make that happen.
*****

To elaborate, I can't drag any of a node, a device node, or an execution environment node from the tools pane and drop it within any of the above to nest it.  I can do so from the navigation pane, but that nests only an instance.

Thanks for your help.

Michael

Actually, what Neil meant was: Please could you submit an official bug report to Sparx Support, using the Report a Bug option at the bottom of the Sparx Systems website screen (in the Support column).

The user forum is for users to correspond, and whilst Sparx employees read the forum and make responses, we do so unofficially and ad hoc. The Support team are not guaranteed to read the forum regularly - or even at all - so the forum is not an avenue for reporting bugs or requesting features.

The Bugs and Issues pages are for users to talk about what they perceive to be bugs and issues, to get other users' opinions, work-arounds, corrections etc.

Send in the proper bug report, and the Support Team will instantly leap into action and check out the problem.
Best Regards, Roy
