[Issue]RTF Showing unwanted elements
« on: January 06, 2009, 02:57:15 am »
I've created a project conform the pictures below. The problem with the RTF generated documents has to do with elements in the root package which are shown while the root package is skipped in the RTF template. If you would take a look at the picture below, the diagram shown is the root diagram of the generated document. When I generate a requirements document of the Requirements package, with the template skipping the root package, Then no elements of this page are shown (as it should be) except for the note on the right (The other note is not shown!). If I delete the note that is shown and regenerate the exact same document, the note on the left side is shown. That's why I would think this is a bug.
In other packages I encounter the same situation with other elements like links.

IMHO somebody else should have encountered this as well. Though I couldn't find any posts about it on this forum. Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

This was introduced in version 833 and is also reproducable in 834.

Hello Marcel,
This inquiry was answered via email support on the 9/01/09 -I also replied on 13/01/09.  So I assume there is some problem with the email reply or filtering of email.

Hi Dermot,

I checked what went wrong and it seems our spamfilter here doesn't like URL's of imageshack. Unfortunaletly that's where the shown pictures are stored. These links also were copied in the reply you send me, so that's why I didn't receive your mail.

Though, I read your email now through hotmail and applied you with a demo project in which the problem occurs.

Hope it sheds some light on this hidden feature.  ;)

(O, by the way. Clicking the images enlarges them!)
