Tagged Values and Hierarchy windows not displaying

Hi all,

I'm simply trying to show the tagged value and hierarchy panels but they don't show up. The View -> Tagged Value menu seems to show that it's visible but I don't see it anywhere. Toggling via the menu or Ctrl-Shift-6 makes no difference. I've scanned through all the available tabs and flyouts but don't see anything.

Any help with this seemingly simple task would be appreciated...this is very frustrating.

Try selecting View | Visual Style | Animate Autohide Windows. The two windows might have been 'hidden'. However, you would see their tabs down the left or right edge of the EA window, and could display them by hovering the cursor over the tab.

If the windows don't appear, post again, or submit a Bug Report using the Support | Report a Bug link at the bottom of the forum page.

Thanks very much for your reply. Animate Autohide was already selected so I turned it off. That didn't seem to make any difference.

This morning I was trying to remember when I last used these, if at all as I just migrated to a new machine, and I believe I had last used them undocked so that I could move them to a different monitor. It was very much like they were hidden, perhaps being drawn off the screen or something like that.

Given that, I noticed the Visual Layouts menu and started to play with that. I re-set my layout to Default Layout and voila, all my views came back... ;- )
