"Version control not being used or unavailable"...
« on: April 01, 2009, 09:58:06 pm »
Hello,

We use EA 7.0, version-controlled with Visual Source Safe. Yesterday we were working on a project when rather suddenly the icon overlay in the project browser changed to the one the help files say means "version control not being used or unavailable".

Note that not all version-controlled icons changed, but a few seemingly random ones.

Any ideas what might have happened? Is it possible it relates to exporting a package to XMI?

Don't know what hapend, but you better lock their parents packages files out of EA (if you are not usgin 7.5) reopen project and reenter those files to VC.
If you check their parents out from within EA you might loose them.
