Check In failed for package under version control

When I'm trying to check in version controlled package it fails with error:
"Error writing XML file" and "Could not write the XML export file"

Package is checked out without errors, XMI file in SVN working copy is owned by the same user EA is run under. XMI file has read/write permissions: -rw-r--r--

EA 7.5.843 on Linux, Subversion 1.5.4

I think you better try to edit it with another program and see what happens. Also, is the file under WINE folder structure? I think it better be there...
