Cannot create Foreign Key constraint
« on: July 30, 2009, 01:14:25 am »
After importing an existing database schema, i want to create constraints.
I create an Association from from the detail table to the master table, right-click and select "Foreign Keys.." from contxt menu.
The screen "Foreign Key Constraint" opens, i select the two idential colums and click "Save".
I get the error message "All primary key columns must be selected", even though there is only one PK column (and i selected it).
When doing exactly the same on the EA installation of a colleague, it worked and i could create the FK constraint.
We deleted the constraint and repeated the whole FK creation for three times on his and mine EA installation, always the same result: i can't create the FK, he can. We both are working on EA 7.5.845, on the same database project.
Is there any client configuration option that could explain this behaiviour?

Just a quick thought...

Make sure you have selected a DBMS on the machine where you have the problem.
No, you can't have it!
