Corrupt? EAP file

I have an EAp file that will not open - opened yesterday will not open today. when looking at the file in windows explorer it has a large question mark symbol (?) super imposed over it.

Does anyone know what this means and if there is a fix?

I am using EA version 6.5

Fixed my own problem  

fyi for anyone interrested:
when closing down the eap file EA crashed and the lock file ".ldb" was stil there as a remnant. I deleted that and EA opened the eap file just fine
