Import DB schema from ODBC - PostgreSQL
« on: August 25, 2009, 12:32:18 am »
Hi,

i was reverse engineering a db from PostgreSQL and face a problem:

in the process this error message appears:

"DAO.Recordset[3077]
Syntax error (missing operator) in expression."

this only happens at "syncronizing" stage.
using EA 7.5 build 843

anyone has any clues?

Thanks

You might want to check DBError.txt in the EA install folder.
Usually that file contains more details about the database errors.

Send in a bug report with all details, including a script of the database being imported (if possible). Screen shots would also help.

Use the Report a Bug link below.

Use the Report a Bug link below.

Then click the link above the bug report form to navigate to the Registered Users version of the form. Or you can click the Registered Users link on the top menu of any forum page and follow the appropriate link near the top of that page.

You need to use the Registered Users version of the bug report in order to attach a file.

If you are not a currently registered user then send an email to Sparx Support (see the About Us page) and attach the file to that.
No, you can't have it!
