Quick Link - won't connect Note

If I create a Boundary and then a Note, I can attached the Note to the Boundary using the quick linker in both directions.  However, If place a stereotype on the Boundary, even though the Quick Linker will select the Boundary (from the Note), it doesn't make the connection - a different functionality is invoked.  The Quick Link TO the Note, FROM the Boundary works consistently - regardless of the presence of the stereotype.
