Stereotype with predefined Notes content.
« on: December 21, 2009, 09:28:27 pm »
Hi all.

Is there any way to create a Stereotype for elements with a predefined content in the Notes field?. Some like notes filled with header information as:

Functional Description:

Input information:

Output Information:

So the user must add information under each topic in the Notes Field.

Thanks in advance.

If you create a Template Package and have an element in that package with the Notes field filled in, then every element you create of that type will have the Notes field filled in. This works independently of stereotypes, so the answer to your question "Is there any way to create a Stereotype for elements ...?" is no.

Thanks for the help.

This is what i need. I have finally create a UML profile withe several stereotypes, and after that I have created a template package with an element for each stereotype used as a template. I have completed the Notes field for the elements with a header information that the users will not have to complete each time they create an element from the profile.

Best Regards and happy Xmas.
