Import RSA EMX - types lost

I recently imported an RSA EMX file which contained a class model.  I've noticed that some of the attributes lost their types (XSD types in RSA) and defaulted to int.  Before importing the EMX file, I imported the XSD types Sparx XMI file and also tried importing the XSD types RSA EMX file.  Neither resolved the issue.  Has anyone seen this before?
