Model Validation in EA 7.5
« on: March 12, 2010, 02:33:21 am »
Hi EA Users,
I am currently evaluating EA and I want to use some OCL contraints in a Profile.
For example, I created an OCL expression on a Stereotype that extends the metaclass 'Package':

inv: self.packagedElement->size() > 0

to get a warning for empty packages.

Unfortunaly, This Warning NEVER disappears, regardless of how many Elements I create in the Package. Is this a bug??

Is it not possible to access the UML2 Superstructure in OCL expressions in EA?

Thanks,
Andreas

Hi,

Maybe the bug will be fixed by the version 8.0. In its Readme file (Beta2), there is a line about this OCL bug.

Hope this helps.
