EA Diagrams In Web Presentations
« on: April 12, 2010, 05:59:26 pm »
When I copy my EA diagrams into Powerpoint they look nice and clear.
When I host my powerpoints on the web the diagrams are unreadable/blurred. In have tried Slidecast, Authorstream and Slideboom...always the same thing.
My RSM diagrams are fine.

Does anyone know why this may be so?

Thanks in advance.
Ian.

Ian,

If you press Ctrl-T on a diagram is allows you to save it in different formats. I would play with those if I were you.

Hi Geert.

Thanks for this.
I have tried saving in those different formats but they are still unclear.
The thing I notice as being different between EA and RSM is EA copies the classes and relationships within the diagram boundary whereas RSM just gives you the classes and relationships.
This is a show-stopper for us, we need clear diagrams in our Web presentations.

In the Tools/Options/diagram dialog there are some more settings to play with.
The diagram boundary is one of those options.

Also when EA generates its own HTML the diagrams are crystal clear in a browser so something else is going on here I think.
