EA 8 Patch upgrade fails. dll missing

Tried to update EA to version 8 using the patch.  Unzipped the patch file to the EA directory.  When I ran EA, I got the message EALayout.dll not found and the program EA would not run.  I had to revert back to the previous version.

The EALayout.dll is missing from the patch zip file.

If you are using the patch file, make sure you are unzipping over an already installed version 8 set-up.  The patch file does not contain all files required to run EA and is not intended for upgrading from a previous version.
