Issue: copy/paste to email distorts font
« on: July 24, 2010, 12:46:08 am »
Not sure where this issue should land, but here's something that I find annoying...

I like to copy and paste quick views of my diagrams to emails for quick team review and interaction.  When I copy a diagram (ctrl-A) and paste into an email created with MS Outlook (03/07) the image looks great.  Once it is delivered to the user however, the fonts appear bolded and distorted.

My work around has been to 'print' to PDF, but taht's a lot of extra steps I'd like to avoid.  Curious to see if anyone else would try this and report back on their experience.  I'm trying to hunt it down.  I did try turning off anti-aliasing to no avail.
Best regards,
cj

Not sure it's necessarily EA's fault.

When I send diagrams, I Save Image [Ctrl+T] to file and send as an attachment.

This also gets around the problem of people without RTF or HTML support in their mailers.
