Status values

I am using 8.0.859

I used the Export Reference Data to create an xml file which contains Status Values.

When I import that data into a new project, the Status Values are not available for selection from the Status drop down list on the properties screen for a requirement.  Only the default values are available.

If you check the Settings > General Types screen, my status values are there.

In order to make them available from the drop down list, I have to go to Settings > General Types, edit one of the Status Values (eg change a description for one of the Statuses) and save that change.  Then all the new status values are available for selection for a requirement.
