Wierd ArchiMate Connector!

Using the ArchiMate profile - using the "Used By" connector to connect an Infrastructure Service to a Product. All quite legal and everything. When I change the line style to "lateral horizontal" - the connector that pops up is a combination of a dashed line and a solid line. Not quite kosher, ArchiMate-wise. Is there an explanation for this other than "it's a bug"? :-?

Likely a bug in EA's vector rendering machine, I guess. What happens if you slightly slant the horizontal part?

It's a bug, and has been fixed for the next major release. (And the answer to the follow-up question is "don't know")
