Automatic updating of requirment stereotypes

Hi!

I am using EA 8.0.855 and have a question about the behaviour of the requirments stereotype.

If I open an (unstereotyped) requirement it automatically selects functional when I close the properties dialog. Can this auto-selection be ignored? Or can the printout of the stereotype be suppressed in the _browser_ ? Weare not using the stereotype because all different requirements are stored under a separate sub packages.

Some times it also copies the stereotype string infront of the descrption, resulting in double stereotypes printouts in the browser. Some times it also adds "..." as a stereotype (alone or in conjunction with e.g. Funticonal)

Should I just resign and always let the tool display the stereotype in the browser??
