Is Active not retained in Communication Diagrams

Hi, I've searched for this in the forums with no success. If I mark a class as 'Is Active' in a class diagram, then add an instance of that class to a communication diagram the active nature of the class/instance is not shown. I can make it appear by going back to the class properties, Advanced and clicking OK (not changing the Is Active tick box). If I now go back to the communication diagram the instance is now active! If the diagram is saved (or not) and closed and re-opened active is lost again!

I haven't checked if this happens on other diagram types.

Any ideas?
