RefGUID Dialog not sticky
« on: March 02, 2011, 04:21:20 pm »
The RefGUID Tagged Value Type is a marvel to behold...

However, populating these by hand can be very frustrating as the dialog ALWAYS seems to open at the first available value in the model.  This means you have to navigate to the one that you want (just about EVERY time).

[edit]Further testing reveals that the Dialog Tree is ordered by Package ID not Package Name!  Now - that's an interesting User interaction pattern...  :'([/edit]

If  the dialog remembered the LAST value selected then it would be MUCH easier for the user.
[edit](2nd) EA Crashed...  When I restarted, it dose seem to remember the last value selected - but the display is somewhat confusing.  I'll keep watching[/edit]

Steps:
Select a RefGUID Tagged Value from the dialog.
Open the [...] builder again, observe that it looks up the value for you.
Goto a new item for which you wish to add the same RefGUID Tagged Value.
Observe that the dialog selects the first available in the model.
