DB Comparison reports false changes with floats
« on: March 15, 2011, 12:29:27 am »
I reverse engineered a MS SQL database of mine into EA 8.0.864, and then without changing anything, did a comparison of the model against the same SQL DB.

The Comparison generates hundreds of 'differences' - 1 for each column of type 'float'. The only difference that I can see is that the ODBC side says 'float (0)' and the GenDDL side says only 'float' under the datatype.

Did you formally report it as a bug using the links below?

If not could you please do so?

TIA,
Paolo
