Beta2:Ellipse drawing BROKEN for connectors
« on: April 06, 2011, 02:13:58 pm »
If your shape script for a connector contains the ellipse drawing command then the ellipse will be drawn incorrectly.

On my diagrams it manifests as a spurious line (going back to (0,0)) attached to the end of the connector with the ellipse.  So you try to select it and you can't.

Since I use the ellipse to draw specialised crows-foot ends on my data models some of my diagrams are almost unreadable with these extra lines going back to the top left of the diagram.

So if your diagrams look like they've gone haywire - it's probably related.

[edit]I discovered (by accident) that if the connector end (with the ellipse) is horizontal the ellipse is drawn correctly.  So don't be fooled![/edit]
Looks like the new (Beta) Ellipse change wasn't tested properly...
