Weird characters in generated RTF document

In an RTF template, I created a table with two columns, one for requirement ID (Name), and the other for the requirement text (Notes).  In a simple template, things come out just fine.  

In a more complex template, but where that section is exactly the same, I get requirements text for some requirements as weird characters, represented in Word as boxes.

  Can anyone help?  

I am using the latest build of version 8.

I changed the Font from Times New Roman to Verdana, and everything displays correctly now.    :-/

    Is this fixed in version 9?
