Aligning connectors

Hi

 I recently downloaded EA version 9. I need an easier way of aligning connectors using the compose connector. The generalize connector does what I need the compose connector to do because the generalize line style is a tree style-vertical and the compose line style is -custom. Is there any way that I can change the properties of the compose connector from custom to tree style- vertical without having to make changes every-time I use the compose connector.

You can change the global default routing for connectors in the options, that that will be valid for all connectors.
You could also try this using the template package, but I'm not sure if that's going to work.
