Traceabilty View data types incompatible
« on: August 18, 2011, 01:39:51 pm »
Since the upgrade to version 9 (build 905) I get a "The data types ntext and nvarchar are incompatible in the equal to operator." when I click on anything in the project browser when I have the traceability view open.

The view doesn't load either :-(

Using the 64-bit SQL Server 2008 R2 native client connectivity...

Any ideas?

I'm aware of an issue in the Tracability window when "Embedded Element Reuse" is enabled that raises an error message like you describe.  I believe a fix for this is currently scheduled for the next build of Enterprise Architect (build 909).

For now, try disabling "Embedded Element Reuse" in the traceability window to see if that helps.
