Printing shows black holes in embeded elements
« on: August 20, 2011, 12:07:57 am »
When I print directly from EA, my elements lose the icons (artifact, server, etc.) that are embedded in the element shape.  It wouldn't be so bad, but they are replaced by black squares!  Is anyone experiencing this?

Win7
EA 9.0.907
Best regards,

Did you check it with another printer (better with another printer from another manufacturer and driver?)

i got the requirement elements turned around 180° by printing them on an HP Laserjet 4250 but with all other printers it is in normal condition.

this looks quite funny with all elements from type requirement turned overhead.

Try it with freepdf. Their printer driver is excellent. And the resulting pdf can be print on any printer afterwards.

Yeah, I'm using cutepdf and have no problems.  I've tried 2 different printers as well, (Cannon and Xerox) with same issue. Seems to be software based.  I've moved on - using CutePDF for printing.
