Object changes not saved
« on: November 08, 2011, 11:39:28 am »
The information is not saved when attempting to paste a short sentence from a Word document to the Notes field in a requirement.

The operations is successful if the clipboard is pasted into notepad, re-copied and pasted into the Notes field.  This might suggest the formatting characters are the cause.

Not sure how to attach a Word document to illustrate the example??

Yes,

I've seen strange things happening when pasting from Word or other non-plain-text sources.

I just try to avoid it.

You should try to copy/paste from PDF to Lotus Notes. That's even more strange. However, you should report a bug if you can reproduce it.

You should use a hyperlink for any such advanced references.

Further you have a Files section where you can add links.
